Eco project: Kitty Litter Scoop

If you find it difficult dragging that big old bag of kitty litter around your home. I have a new project for you and your pet kitty/s. This home-made recycled scoop can be used for placing fresh litter into the clean kitty tray.

Materials Needed:

SONY DSC

Soft Plastic bottle like any one of these Ecover ones!

Scissors

Eco-friendly washing up liquid

Cloth to dry

Instructions:

1) Remove the lid and labels (place them in the recycling bin).

2) Cut the top off the bottle by carefully piercing a whole in the side and cutting it off using the scissors.

3) Tidy up the top of the bottle with scissors so its not sharp!

4) Wash the bottle with hot water and eco-friendly washing up liquid and dry.

Now your new kitty litter scoop is finished and ready to use!
